This is our second year in having our community garden plot. I literally was on a waiting list for a year and half for the little 10x10 plot we now have (and will never give up!)
Last year we got a really late start since we found out in late May that the plot was ours for the taking. Therefore there was a lot of trial and error in what to grow and how it would actually do.
This year we got a great start and we were out there planting about a month ago. Things have already started growing and I always love taking pictures at the start of the season and then again in late summer. So without further ado, here is our plot this year....
A variety of tomatoes - cherry, heirloom, and more...
Different kinds of peppers - green, red, jalapeno...
New this year - leeks, carrots, zucchini and cucumbers...
We also planted cilantro, basil and parsley and it's mixed in there somewhere. I can't wait to bite into that first tomato :) More pics to come as the summer goes on!
