Welcome

After a lot of reluctance, I have finally joined the blogging world! I wanted a place where I could document and share all my crafts, sewing projects, recipes and more. I am not a chef, baker, seamstress, party planner or crafter, but after a friend convinced me to take an 8 week sewing class in 2009, I was hooked into the crafting world.

Most of my sewing projects are trial and error and involve a lot of seam ripping (thanks Aaron for that lovely tool last Mother's Day!) and I still have no clue how to sew on a zipper (needless to say, the dress for my daughter I started in class sits unfinished) but I truly love sewing and crafting and my list of projects seems endless.

I am a mother to two beautiful children, Emma and Reid, and they are the inspiration for all my projects and keep me pretty busy in the meantime. I hope to share and post as much as I can and inspire everyone to become a domesticated mama!
