Emma's Big Girl Room

I have been wanting to post for awhile now on Emma's new big girl room! I just finished the final touches last week and took some pics while her room was nice and neat :)
We didn't do much in terms of changing the furniture and kept the same rug and curtains, but of course Emma wanted a big girl bed and I wanted to make her room more girlie by adding pink.

We actually ended up transitioning her crib to a full size bed and I found the cutest ruffly quilt at Home Goods. I made the pillowcases myself using fabric from the Heather Bailey Nicey Jane line and MADE's tutorial. They were super easy!
A friend who specializes in spacing rooms helped us out and created a little reading corner for Emma. Everything fit perfectly in her room using the same furniture and accessories.
There is even a spot for her doll and cradle. And of course the bedding matches Emma's bedding which I blogged about in this post :)
My big project for the room was the wall decor over her bed! I had seen this done somewhere in blog land and loved it! Next week, I will blog more on the project but it truly was the finishing touch to Emma's room :)
Emma is definitely a big girl now...

Oh my goodness! That is such a beautiful room! I just love it. It actually kind of makes me not like my daughters' room. Wow.

The room is so pretty! I really like the book case--the sides make it so fun.
And the decor over the bed is great!

What an adorable room! I just completed a nursery for my 3rd little boy, so it's fun to see some pink! I'd love it if you'd stop by and check it out!
