Kids Clothing Week Challenge - Day 4

Today something for Little Mister :)

I picked up two different colors of seersucker fabric a few weeks back at Joann's to make Reid some bermuda shorts for the summer. One a blue and white striped, the other black and white stripe. I still haven't quite nailed down making the perfect pair of pants so today I am actually working from a pattern out of Weekend Sewing by Heather Ross. It's a great book and actually there are a few things in here I plan on making for myself (of course when I get more time!)

I followed the pattern for the Huck Finn pants but shortened the length to make them bermudas. I am really not in love with the way they came out :(

They almost look like a pair of boxers. Next time I am going to dress up the style a bit by adding pockets or a faux fly. Hopefully they will look better actually on Reid!
