I never know what to do with the huge pile of fabric scraps I seem to accumulate. I am not a quilter and most of the time I give it away, however sometimes the fabric is the perfect size for small projects (especially ones for Miss Emma).
Emma was begging for some accessories for her kitchen set. So from a few bigger scraps, I made two place mat and napkin sets. They were so easy to make and made her very happy! Tea, anyone?
To make the place mats, I took four pieces of fabric, each measuring 8.5x11. With right sides together, sew all the way around, leaving a small opening to turn them right side out. After turning them right side out, iron them down, espcially along the edges. Lastly, top stitch all the way around.

Hi Michele! I just received the cutest shirts for my girls as a gift from someone and I'm hoping you can help me figure out who sent them...the package was halfway open from our aggressive mailwoman and I think a card fell out. Would you mind emailng me at amanda@ahmconsult.com and I can give you my address and better explain the awesome shirts! Thank you so much!
